Thrissur Pooram 2017: Vadakkunnathan Kerala Temple Festival Celebration

Thrissur Pooram is the main festival for Keralian. As per the ritual it is always held at the Vadakkunnathan Temple in Thrissur and people are loong waiting for the Malayalam festival. Its called largest and most awaited festival of all Poorams. As per the Malayalam Calendar this month is called as month of Medam and in this day moon rises with Pooram star. The main attraction of Thrissur Pooram festival is firecrackers display and elephant raily. The Thiruvambadi and Paramekkavu Devaswoms are the main organizers of the Pooram.
