Sankashti Chaturthi Vrat Puja Vidhi

  • Worship Lord Ganesha after taking bath in the morning.
  • In Sawan month, on the day of Sankashti Chaturthi, wake up before sunrise.
  • After this, take a bath after sunset and wear clean clothes.
  • Spread a clean yellow cloth on the post and place the idol of Lord Ganesha on this cloth.
  • Take a vow of fasting while meditating on Lord Ganesha.
  • Offer arghya only after mixing sesame seeds in water.
  • Do fast throughout the day.
  • Wear yellow clothes to Lord Ganesha and install it.
  • Keep a vase filled with water near the idol of Ganesha.
  • Now sprinkle Gangajal water and sanctify the whole place.
  • Offer vermilion, akshat, durva grass, Laddu, betel leaves, incense janeu, doob, betel nut, clove, cardamom and water etc. to Ganesh ji.
  • Offer incense-lamp, naivedya, sesame, laddu, sweet potato, guava, jaggery and ghee.
  • After worshiping Ganesha Ji, after moonrise in the night, mix honey, sandalwood, roli in milk and offer Arghya to the moon.
  • Sesame should be donated on this day.
  • Offer dakshina to Ganesh ji and offer him 21 Laddus.
  • After that chant this mantra.
  • Break the fast by taking the laddus offered in the prasad.

Sankashti Chaturthi Vrat Puja Vidhi in Hindi (संकष्टी चतुर्थी व्रत पूजा विधि हिंदी)

    • सुबह स्नान ध्यान करके भगवान गणेश की पूजा करें।
    • इसके बाद सूर्यास्त के बाद स्नान करके स्वच्छ वस्त्र पहनें।
    • चौकी पर साफ पीले रंग का कपड़ा बिछाएं इस कपड़े के ऊपर भगवान गणेश की मूर्ति रखें।
    • गणेश भगवान का ध्यान करते हुए व्रत का संकल्प लें।
    • भगवान गणेश को पीले वस्त्र पहनाएं और स्थापित करें।
    • गणेश जी की मूर्ति के पास एक कलश में जल भर कर रखें।
    • अब गंगा जल छिड़कें और पूरे स्थान को पवित्र करें।
    • गणेश जी को सिंदूर, अक्षत, दूर्वा घास, लड्डू, पान, धूप जनेऊ, दूब, पान में सुपारी, लौंग, इलायची और जल आदि अर्पित करें।
    • धूप-दीप, नैवेद्य, तिल, लड्डू, शकरकंद, अमरूद, गुड़ और घी अर्पित करें।
    • गणेश पूजन के बाद रात में चंद्रयोदय होने के बाद दूध में शहद, चंदन, रोली मिलाकर चंद्रमा को अर्घ्य दें।
    • गणेश जी को दक्षिणा अर्पित कर उन्हें 21 लड्डूओं का भोग लगाएं।
    • इसके बाद इस मंत्र का जाप करें।
    • परसाद में चढ़ाए गए लड्डू ग्रहण करके व्रत का पारण करें

Significance of Sankashti Chaturthi
