Tulsi Vivah (तुलसी विवाह) is also known as other names are Dev Uthani Ekadashi or Devutthana Ekadashi. This year Tulsi Vivah is on 24 November 2023, Friday. Every year in the month of Kartik, on the Ekadashi tithi of Shukla Paksha, God Shaligram (विग्रह स्वरुप शालीग्राम) and Goddess Tulsi (देवी तुलसी) are married in the form of Deity form of Lord Vishnu. According to religious beliefs, on this auspicious day Lord Vishnu wakes up from long days sleep (योग निद्रा) after four months. That is why this day is also called Dev Uthan.

Tulsi Vivah 2023 Puja Vidhi (तुलसी विवाह पूजा विधि)
- In the evening, Wear new cloth and the whole family should get ready for Tulsi Puja.
- Keep the Tulsi plant on a wooden pallet (पटिये) in the middle of the courtyard or the house of worship.
- Decorate a sugarcane pavilion (गन्ने का मंडप) over a Tulsi pot.
- Offer all the Suhag samagri (सुहाग सामग्री) on the Tulsi plant.
- Offer Red chunri (लाल चुनरी) on Tulsi plant.
- Keep Lord Shaligram (सालिग्राम) in a pot of Tulsi.
- Offer sesame seeds (तिल) to Lord Saligram.
- Apply turmeric soaked in milk (दूध में भीगी हल्दी) on Tulsi Ji and Saligram Ji.
- Apply turmeric to the sugarcane pavilion (गन्ने के मंडप).
- Now Worship the sugarcane pavilion (गन्ने के मंडप) .
- Read or speak Mangalashtak (मंगलाष्टक) which is used in marriage.
- Offer worship materials like bhaji (भाजी), radish (मूली़), plum (बेर) and Gooseberry (आंवला ) to Tulsi Ji and Saligram Ji.
- Perform aarti with Camphor.
- Offer Prasad – Bhog to God – Goddess and distribute that Bhog to all the members of the family.
- Perform Tulsi Parikrama (तुलसी परिक्रमा) 11 times by worshiping.
- During this, there must be rice in hand, do not do it empty handed.
- Take Prasad when you are taking main food.
- At the end of the puja, all the members of the house lift the plate from all sides and calling upon Lord Vishnu to wake up.
